SLOVNORMAL, s.r.o. operates in bakery production and bakery operations. In this environment, stable and secure local IT infrastructure is important for everyday company operations, device connectivity, network management and secure remote access.
For the company, we improved the local technical background. The solution included building a new rack, adjusting the Wi-Fi network, installing and configuring a firewall and introducing VPN access for safer remote connection to selected parts of the company environment.
The goal was to replace the original unclear state with clearer, safer and better manageable local infrastructure.

Technical devices without a rack, unmanaged Wi-Fi and missing firewall
Before the implementation, the technical background was not placed in a dedicated rack or cabinet. Network and technical devices were freely placed on a table, which reduced clarity, made management harder and did not provide suitable physical organisation of the infrastructure.
The Wi-Fi network was not centrally managed and the environment lacked a firewall as an important security element of the local network. VPN access was also missing, which would enable safer remote connection to selected parts of the company environment.
